The exhibition ‘Through the Shade’ generates a safe zone for visitors that encourages them to gradually face the topic.
From the historical aspects to each detailed category of gun violence, the exhibition aims to not only prevent visitors from being overwhelmed by the serious contents but also provide time to contemplate the topic. Each art piece is covered by translucent bubbles which allow visitors to decide what to observe or not. The exit of the exhibition is connected to the second building, the garden, where visitors can share and elevate their thoughts on the issue.
